Artist's Comments

Sometimes I make the worst come out in me.

Words are dangerous things. It never ceases to amaze me, the atrocities that come out of our mouths sometimes. Do we just not think before we speak? Or do our raw, uncensored words reveal our true meaning? Through our mouths we spew all the pain and suffering we've ever endured, and lay our burdens on others. Half the time we don't even know we're doing it. People complain about their job, about their relationships, about their latte, and don't even realize how much it brings the rest of us down. Apathy seems to be the attitude of the masses. Then we complain about other people complaining. It's just a never ending cycle of misery. We all feed off each other. And why? We're all just passing the blame. Focus on him and you won't focus on me. Why don't we swallow our pride for two seconds and accept responsibility for once? The only reason conflict exists is because everyone's too aware of their own credibility.

you just made a very good point, we all do that, we constantly complain and never stop to realize that we feed the vicious cycle. i congratulate you on being the first person to make a picture that really shows that cycle. very very nice work, wonderful shading, and very good point too.

So true. Today's world is a world of inescapable self-pity. You can't get away from it, no matter where you go. Depression, cynicism, egotism...

Great work, as always. The feeling and style you put into your art is phenomenal.

Wow...this is an amazing peice! There is all this meaning behind it and it really opens your eyes. I absolutly love this concept! You really are a thinker, someone who actually looks at the world and analyzes it. You don't just let things run through one ear and out the other. I really love people who actually think. And I am glad that you have a way to express the way you think! I ..I just love this peice!! I wish I could think of such great and surreal ideas!! *envy* I am faving this to the max!!! Heheehee ^^

BTW Its good to see something new from you! It was deffinetly worth the wait!

it's awesome.

in response to your explanation: i understand where you're coming from. that's why i say that every one is a hypocrite (and coincidentally, i've had people disagree with me on that one because they don't want to take responsibility over the fact that sometimes they contradict themselves or do a "double standard").

all right, i'm done.

uhm, i'm really hoping that my first note came through, but in case it didn't:

it's awesome.

in response to your explanation: i understand. i also feel that every one is a hypocrite (and coincidentally enough, i've had people disagree with me on that, showing their irresponsibility by denying the fact that at some point they contradict whatever shit came out of their mouth first).

i guess i'm done.
